Operacion Compa-Zion, Inc.

Piedras Negras, Coahuila MX

While visiting Iglesia Buenas Nuevas in Piedras Negras, we visited with Marcos and Yolanda that had been saved for a few months.  When asked what their dream was, they said to have a taco stand.  They were asked how much would be needed to begin this business and they said about $50.  They invested the money that was given to them to open "Tacos la Bendicion."  They have run into obstacles by others that live in their neighborhood but they are continuing to believe that God will see them through.

Prior to them coming to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, Marcos was on drugs and their marriage was on the verge of divorce.  They were living in a house that was made of wooden pallets.  The only covering they had was a small section which provided shelter from the rain.  She recalls that when they had their first son, she was home alone with her son, while her husband was out.  She recalled that it began to rain and she had to huddle herself and her son under that small roof covering.  She was able to keep the baby dry but her back was soaking wet.

As time went by, they experienced many difficulties in their lives and marriage.

One day, Marcos came to the church and accepted Jesus as His Savior.  He went home to find his wife, only to find that she had already left.  He went looking for her until he found her.  He told her what had happened to him and she was hesitant, but she gave "Jesus" a chance.  And we all know that all Jesus wants is for us to give Him a chance.  Well, Jesus touched her and she hasn't been the same.

Below are pictures of what their first home looked like as well as pictures of their taco stand.

We praise God for His tender mercies and love that endureth for all ages.
